Sales Assistant – Furniture, Bedding & Lounges – Coffs Harbour, NSW

MacLeod's Furniture, Beds R Us and LaZboy Gallery are family owned businesses with stores in Coffs Harbour and Grafton in NSW.

We carry a wide range of beautiful bedroom and dining room furniture, an extensive range of mattresses from quality brands like Sleepmaker and Sleepyhead, and comfortable lounges and recliners from trusted brands like LaZboy and Zoletti.

Our Coffs Harbour locations require a talented sales assistant in a casual / part time position who is available to work weekdays and shared weekends, with a view to becoming a full time position.

Job tasks and responsibilities:

Trading floor and showroom

  • Retail sales and customer service
  • Merchandising and decorating
  • Phone / email enquiries and sales
  • Purchasing, payment processing, point of sale usage
  • Basic administration and computer operation
  • Assembly and disassembly of furniture
  • Cleaning and housekeeping

Storeroom and deliveries

  • Receiving orders
  • Preparing stock for deliveries

Essential selection criteria

  • Passionate about customer service
  • A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn new skills
  • Experience in a customer service / sales role
  • Ability to thrive in a busy work environment
  • Team oriented but still able to work independently
  • A clear communicator with problem solving skills
