HSEQ Advisor

The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced HSEQ Advisor to join our Hendra team. Working within our Infrastructure Services team, you'll work closely with operational leaders to uphold our vision of a totally safe workplace. This role suits someone who knows their craft, stays grounded in the fundamentals, and believes that safety is non-negotiable.

Key Responsibilities

· Drive a strong, practical safety culture across operational teams

· Build trusted relationships with internal teams and clients

· Deliver accurate, timely advice on all HSEQ matters

· Support and coordinate HSEQ systems, procedures and compliance programs

· Ensure legislative, code and licence compliance

· Conduct site audits and prepare clear reports

· Maintain hazard identification, risk assessment and control processes

· Oversee record management and document control

· Manage the skills matrix and coordinate mandatory training

· Lead or support incident investigations

· Coach and mentor managers and team members on HSEQ requirements

About You

· Minimum 3 years' HSEQ or relevant industry experience

· Cert IV in Workplace Health and Safety (essential)

· Strong stakeholder engagement skills

· Experience running site inspections, investigations, audits and training

· Background in electrical, civil or construction environments

· Confident communication skills and a steady approach

· Cert IV TAE (desirable)
