About the role

IDEA Innovative Disability Engagement Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a casual cleaner to join our team in Gosford, NSW. As a cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our facilities to the highest standards.

Australian work rights are required for this position.

What you'll be doing

  • Performing general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
  • Cleaning and sanitising bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas
  • Replenishing consumables like soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
  • Reporting any maintenance issues or supply needs to the facilities team
  • Adhering to all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role, preferably in a commercial or professional setting
  • A minimum of 6 months previous cleaning experience is required
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness
  • Reliable, punctual, and dedicated to providing excellent customer service
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Basic understanding of cleaning methods, products, and equipment
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required
