HR Driver - Labouer

This is a hands-on role where you will be an integral part of the team in the operation of the warehouse & logistic functions of the business.

Using your experience, you will be loading all required goods, ensuring goods loaded are correct, delivering and offloading (Some manual offloading) customer sales orders on time and in full.

Ensuring adherence to road rules / company policies / procedures, and safe work procedures will form an important part of your role.

Overtime available, as and when required.

This is a diverse position where no two days are the same. You'll be driving a variety of new and fully maintained vehicles - including Heavy & Medium Rigid, Light truck and Utes.

The Role:

Reporting to the Warehouse / Logistics Team Leader.

Ensure loads for dispatch are safely secured and loaded in the appropriate manner,

Ensure goods for dispatch are correct to dispatch dockets

Maintain accurate records of routes, deliveries, and vehicle inspections.

Check products for damage &/or discrepancies against relevant paperwork

Assisting in the warehouse duties as required to pick, pack & prepare sales orders efficiently & accurately, via the use of Tablets, Supplier pick up and delivers

Under taking site clean ups and returning products for restocking or recycling

Assisting warehouse Loading and unloading of transports in a timely and safely manner

Qualifications & Experience:

Current HR Truck Licence

Current Forklift, Licence

Minimum of 3 years' experience in warehouse - transport operations role within the construction / steel industry. Desirable, although not essential

Strong Numeracy & Literacy Skills

Computer Literacy and Skills with ERP systems

Safety & Team Orientated

Appreciate cultural diversity

Honest, Reliable & Punctual with a Positive Can-Do attitude to work

Responsible & accountable for own work

Exercise judgment and initiative with attention to detail & quality

Ability to work autonomously & requires minimal supervision

Flexibility - willingness to learn new tasks

Requirement to be physically fit.
