We're looking for a proactive and empathetic Claims Officer to join our dynamic team. In this key role, you'll manage insurance claims from start to finish, ensuring a smooth and supportive experience for our clients.

What you'll be doing:

  • Manage, assess, and process general insurance claims within delegated authority

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and keep clients informed every step of the way

  • Interpret policy coverage and escalate complex claims as needed

  • Identify potential fraud and refer appropriately

  • Work closely with Loss Adjustors, Assessors, and suppliers

  • Maintain accurate and compliant records in line with regulatory requirements

What you'll bring:

  • Tier 2 (FNSASIC315) – Provide General & Personal Advice in General Insurance (or willingness to obtain)

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • High attention to detail and organisational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and claims systems

Preferred but not essential:

  • Certificate IV or Tier 1 (FNSASIC513) in General Insurance

  • Previous claims handling experience

  • Knowledge of the General Insurance Code of Practice
