Cleaning Team Member – Mount Waverley

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Cleaning Team Member to join our team in ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, be able to work independently, and have a passion for maintaining a clean and organised environment.

The main responsibilities of the role will be;

  • Perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitising surfaces
  • Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly
  • Clean restrooms and replenish supplies as needed
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or damages to the supervisor
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines when handling cleaning chemicals and operating equipment

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

  • Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial services is preferred
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Willingness to undergo training on proper cleaning techniques
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently
  • Good time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Physical stamina for long periods of standing and bending
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment is preferred but not required
