Tell me about this role:

Amentum are seeking NV1 security cleared Systems Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis. You will provide Systems Engineering activities to support a sovereign technology program delivering critical capability to Defence. The successful candidate will require demonstrated experience in a high-pressure environment, preferably Defence, with a willingness to be adaptable.

What will I be doing day to day?

• Conduct capability and concept development, requirements analysis and development, design and implementation
• Plan and deliver engineering services, regulatory compliance, resource management, and project outcomes
• Conduct Verification & Validation
• Provide Engineering governance of Networks (Systems of systems)
• Engage with stakeholders, investigate systems engineering concepts, deliver and manage systems engineering specifications and resources

What sort of skills do I need?

• Degree qualifications in Systems Engineer or related field
• Experience within a government or Defence environment
• Experience Engineering governance and Verification & Validation
• Experience in Networking
• Strong communication skills, process orientated with good attention to detail
• Hold a minimum NV1 security clearance (must be an Australian citizen)
