About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and caring Dental Assistant with Dental Reception Experience to join our team. The role involves supporting our dentists chairside, preparing and maintaining treatment rooms, taking payments alongside general reception duties, sterilization, and providing excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist dentists chairside during a variety of dental procedures
  • Provide general administrative and reception support
  • Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and treatment rooms
  • Sterilization and infection control in line with dental guidelines
  • Welcome and support patients, ensuring a positive and comfortable experience
  • Manage patient records and appointment notes as required
  • Maintain stock levels and assist with ordering supplies

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience as a Dental Assistant (preferred but not essential – we can provide training)
  • Experience in reception duties and payment taking
  • Certificate III in Dental Assisting (advantageous but not required)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A caring, professional, and positive attitude
  • Ability to work well within a team and in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to infection control and workplace safety
