We are a family owned & operated café in Cremorne (Richmond).

As Head Chef you will take full control of the kitchens operations. Driving a can do attitude, consistency, staff performance and stock levels. You'll lead by example, continue to shape our fantastic culture and have pride with all food being made.

You'll work closely with management and our family to:

• Refine and evolve our menu direction and food identity, keeping true to the LaManna & Sons brand
• Oversee daily service and kitchen performance in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Maintain exceptional standards of quality, consistency, and efficiency
• Manage budgets, costings and stock control
• Lead, mentor, and develop a passionate kitchen team

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can combine culinary creativity with operational precision — and inspire their team to deliver excellence every day.

YOU

You're a confident, hands-on professional with a proven track record leading high-volume, quality-focused kitchens. You thrive in fast-paced environments, lead by example, and bring both structure and creativity to everything you do.

You'll bring:

• 5+ years' experience leading busy café / restaurant.
• A strong record in leadership, mentoring, and building positive team culture
• The ability to deliver consistency at scale without compromising quality or detail
• A solid understanding of cost management, ordering, and kitchen systems
• Creative flair and a passion for modern café-style, produce-driven cuisine
• Experience in catering operations.
