Farm Hand – Buffalo Dairy

Location: Capel, WA (25 minutes from Bunbury and Busselton)

Quindanning Buffalo is a small buffalo dairy business seeking an additional team member to join our milking team. This is a hands on farm role with opportunities for long term employment.

Our dairy is located just outside Capel, WA, within easy access to Bunbury, Busselton, and local beaches. We are a small, dedicated team passionate about producing quality buffalo milk and products.

About the Role:

• Full time employment
• Daily milking of a small buffalo herd (rotary system)
• Calf rearing and general livestock care
• General farm maintenance and support work

Requirements:

• Previous dairy farm experience is essential (milking, calf rearing, livestock care)
• Valid driver's licence
• Reliable transport
• Willingness to work hard and learn new skills
• Ability to provide own accommodation (separate accommodation may be arranged if required)

Desirable Skills:

• Tractor driving experience
• Experience with buffalo or a veterinary background (highly regarded)

Pay & Conditions:

• Pay is above award rates
• Annual salary range is $68,864 - $91,000 depending on skills and experience
• A work vehicle is available for farm use
