Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and caring person to assist with school pick-up and after-school care for two children aged 5 and 11 years. The role involves safely transporting the children to and from school, assisting with homework, and providing supervision until parents return home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely pick up children (ages 5 and 11) from school and transport them home.
  • Provide after-school supervision in a safe and supportive environment.
  • Assist children with homework and encourage positive study habits.
  • Engage children in age-appropriate activities (reading, games, creative play).
  • Prepare simple after-school snacks if required.
  • Ensure the wellbeing and safety of the children at all times until parents arrive.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous experience working with children (babysitting, nannying, tutoring, or childcare).
  • Current Driver's Licence with a safe driving record.
  • Roadworthy and insured vehicle.
  • Current Working With Children Check (Ochre Card – NT requirement).
  • First Aid & CPR certification (preferred but not essential).
