A National leading brand in the beverage industry specialising in the distribution of cask and bottled beverages, located in Erskine Park.

The Role: Production Machine Operators – PM Shift

A leading manufacturer in the beverage industry is seeking an experienced Machine Operators to join their team on a busy automated production line. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking for long-term stability.

You will be responsible for the efficient operation of automated filling, packaging, and processing machinery within a high-volume production facility. Daily overtime is available, and the role involves rotating between various tasks to support continuous production flow.

Your main duties will involve:

  • Operate and monitor automated beverage filling and packaging machinery.
  • Work on a production line filling and packaging cask water products.
  • Ensure raw materials and packaging supplies are sufficiently stocked.
  • Troubleshoot minor issues and escalate when necessary.
  • Assist with changeovers and basic preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Perform quality checks and maintain accurate QC documentation.
  • Set up and adjust machinery, resolving basic mechanical problems.
  • Maintain hygiene and sanitation standards in line with HACCP and GMP.
  • Clean and sanitise production areas, equipment, and wash down machinery.
  • Remove sealed boxes from conveyor and load onto pallets.
  • Support safe start-up and shutdown procedures.
  • Meet production targets and monitor line performance, escalating issues when required.

  • Work safely, responsibly, and in compliance with company quality systems

  • Matching customer labels and paperwork to orders

The Candidates:

To be successful in obtaining this role you will have the following experience:

  • Minimum 3+ years' experience as a machine operator in FMCG or similar high-speed manufacturing.
  • Experience operating filling, labelling, packaging, and processing machinery.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot machinery.
  • Understanding of HACCP, GMP, hygiene protocols, and quality systems.
  • Ability to meet production and efficiency targets.
  • Excellent communication, literacy, and numeracy skills.
  • Reliable attendance and a positive attitude.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Ability to manually load/unload materials and work on your feet.
  • Previous experience with high-volume processing equipment (highly regarded).
  • Own reliable transport (shift times outside public transport hours).
  • Full Australian working rights required
