About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced café environment.

Candidates must be available to work during business hours only.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve high-quality espresso coffee, teas, and other beverages to café standards.
  • Provide warm, friendly, and professional customer service at all times.
  • Take customer orders, process payments, and maintain accurate cash handling.
  • Assist with food preparation and service as required.
  • Keep the café area clean, organized, and presentable, following food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Food handling certification must be obtained within 30 days of commencement.
  • Restock supplies and monitor inventory as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth daily operations.

Skills & Qualities We're Looking For

  • Prior barista experience (minimum 6–12 months preferred, but training can be provided).
  • Strong knowledge of coffee preparation and milk texturing.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality and consistency.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic.
  • Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and public holidays if required.
  • Candidates must be permanent residents of Australia.
