Medical Receptionist

We are seeking a friendly, team-oriented, and motivated medical receptionist, preferably with experience, on a casual basis, working across our two clinics, Hindmarsh GP and Hanson Road Medical Clinic. No weekend or public holiday work required.

The Role:

We're looking for a Medical Receptionist who is confident in the day-to-day operations of a busy clinic and ready to hit the ground running. You'll be the first point of contact for patients, so a warm, professional manner is essential.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Greeting patients and managing front desk duties
• Answering phones and handling patient enquiries with empathy and efficiency
• Booking appointments using our clinical software system
• Processing Medicare billing, WorkCover and MVA invoicing
• Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence
• Prioritising tasks based on clinic flow and demand

About You:

You're calm under pressure, tech-savvy and enjoy a challenge. You understand the requirements of general practice reception and have experience with:

• Medicare, WorkCover and MVA processes
• Patient confidentiality and professionalism
• Balancing a high workload with excellent attention to detail
• Working both independently and as part of a team
• Initiative and motivation on contributing to the practice

You'll also bring:

• Previous experience as a medical receptionist (desirable)
• A friendly, can-do attitude and strong communication skills
• A knack for staying organised, even when it gets hectic
• A professional, polished presence - you represent our clinic every day
