San Telmo is a gem of Melbourne's restaurant scene, and undoubtedly one of Australia's finest Argentinian restaurants. Sitting adjacent to Parliament Station, our prime location means that the CBD is on your doorstep when it's time to treat yourself in town

In the Casual Food & Beverage Salesperson role, your day-to-day will involve:

  • Welcoming and engaging with guests to create a warm, inviting atmosphere
  • Taking customer orders accurately and delivering a high-quality dining experience
  • Confidently recommending menu items and upselling where appropriate
  • Cross-training across different areas of the venue (i.e. bar, floor and reservations) for variety and skill development
  • Thriving in a fast-paced environment with strong guest interaction

Think you've got what it takes?

The ideal candidate will have:

- Availability for 24-30 hours per week, on a consistent basis. Including weekends where needed.

- The unrestricted right to work in Australia (Citizen or PR status), or at least 2+ years remaining on a temporary visa

- Proven experience in a premium restaurant, with a strong understanding of food & beverage service and customer interaction.

- Ability to confidently serve drinks, operate a POS system, and handle transactions accurately.

- Strong upselling skills and a passion for creating great customer experiences.

- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

- A positive attitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high service standards.
