What you'll be doing

• Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide personalised recommendations
• Demonstrate and showcase our range of furniture and home décor products
• Close sales effectively by guiding customers through the purchase process
• Maintain detailed knowledge of our product range, pricing, and promotions
• Collaborate with the wider retail team to achieve individual and store sales targets
• Ensure a seamless and enjoyable customer experience from start to finish

What we're looking for

• Previous (minimum 2 years) experience in a sales or customer-facing role, ideally within the furniture, home furnishings industry or items such as jewellery, cars, bedding, etc.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers
• Strong product knowledge and a passion for interior design and home décor trends
• Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets
• Enthusiasm, energy, and a positive attitude to deliver an exceptional customer experience
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
• Basic computer literacy and experience with point-of-sale systems
