The London Hotel in Paddington is looking for a passionate, driven Sous Chef to join our kitchen team on a full-time basis. We're a well-established gastropub known for quality food, great service, and a vibrant local following.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sous Chef or a strong Senior CDP ready to take the next step in their career.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Assisting the Head Chef with day-to-day kitchen operations
- Leading, training, and motivating kitchen staff
- Ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation
- Managing stock, ordering, and supplier relationships
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant kitchen environment
- Helping develop new dishes and seasonal menus
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role or strong CDP ready to move up
- Strong knowledge of modern Australian pub cuisine
- Leadership skills with the ability to work under pressure
- Attention to detail and commitment to consistency
- Full working rights in Australia
