Role Overview
We're seeking a detail-oriented, tech-savvy professional to manage the end-to-end merchant onboarding process. You'll be responsible for processing applications, provisioning payment terminals, coordinating integrations, and supporting merchants through setup — all while ensuring a seamless experience from approval to activation.
This role suits someone with strong technical understanding of POS and payment systems who enjoys helping customers remotely rather than being on the road.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and manage new merchant applications through to activation.
- Provision payment terminals and ensure correct configuration and connectivity.
- Guide merchants through POS and payment gateway integrations (over phone or remote session).
- Liaise with acquirers, terminal providers, and internal teams to resolve setup issues promptly.
- Provide ongoing support for merchant's post-installation (troubleshooting, updates, replacements).
- Maintain accurate onboarding records and escalate complex cases where required.
- Deliver an outstanding merchant experience consistent with Qiki's service standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience supporting or installing POS systems, payment terminals, or EFTPOS services.
- Good understanding of networking (Wi-Fi, LAN, Bluetooth) and remote troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical certifications or experience in IT or payments highly regarded.
