College Psychologist

Villanova College is a Catholic boys' school (Years 5–12) in the Augustinian tradition. We're seeking a registered Psychologist to deliver evidence-based counselling and assessment, strengthen teacher capability, and help boys to regulate, learn and flourish.
You will
- Provide individual and group counselling for emotional, social, behavioural and learning concerns.
- Conduct psychological assessments and produce clear, timely reports.
- Develop intervention and safety plans, and coordinate risk responses.
- Build teacher capacity through consultation, classroom strategies and staff PL.
- Work closely with families and external providers to align care.
- Contribute to targeted groups and whole-school wellbeing initiatives.
- Maintain high-quality records aligned to APS/AHPRA and College policy.
About you
- Current AHPRA registration as a Psychologist.
- Demonstrated experience with children/adolescents; trauma-informed, evidence-based practice.
- Competence in assessment, formulation, brief interventions, and risk management.
- Strong report writing, organisation and case management skills.
- Collaborative, values-aligned, and committed to continuous improvement.
- Blue Card (or eligibility to obtain) and satisfactory checks, including National Criminal History Check.
- Willingness to obtain First Aid, CPR.
