ABOUT MARMALADE

Marmalade is an invoice payment platform revolutionising business payments. We empower businesses to get their unpaid invoices paid when they need it, alleviating cash flow strain without debt and enabling them to grow on their terms.

With Marmalade, businesses can choose to have an unpaid invoice paid in advance of the due date minus a low one time fixed fee with the funds delivered in a matter of hours. Marmalade integrates with Xero, MYOB and QuickBooks with no changes required to how a business invoices.

Marmalade is ever-evolving and setting new standards around invoice payments. We're enthusiastic about the journey ahead and recognise we're only scratching the surface of what's possible.

THE ROLE

We're looking for a Marketing & Community Coordinator to manage our day-to-day content and community presence.

You'll take ownership of the strategy and bring it to life, creating posts, scheduling content, monitoring engagement and keeping our brand active and consistent across LinkedIn and Facebook. You'll also support foundational marketing activities such as campaign coordination, asset management and basic reporting.

This role is execution-focused. You won't need to set the high-level strategy, but you will be responsible for making sure the plan is delivered on time, to a high standard and with attention to detail.

Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer and working closely with Marmalade's Account Executives, the
Marketing & Community Coordinator
will be responsible for:

Community Management

  • Monitor LinkedIn and Facebook periodically, respond to comments, messages and mentions.
  • Engage with relevant posts, pages and groups to keep Marmalade visible in the community.
  • Maintain a consistent, friendly and professional brand voice in all interactions.
  • Escalate important conversations, feedback or opportunities to the CRO.

Content Creation & Execution

  • Create, edit and publish 2+ organic posts per week on LinkedIn and Facebook.
  • Use Canva and brand templates to design supporting visuals or basic graphics.
  • Write short, clear and engaging copy that reflects our brand tone.
  • Schedule all content in advance and ensure content aligns with the strategy.

Foundational Marketing

  • Maintain the content calendar and make sure all planned posts go live on time.
  • Keep marketing assets and templates organised in shared folders.
  • Assist with basic campaign coordination (briefs, assets, approvals).
  • Track basic performance metrics (engagement, reach, clicks) and provide simple reports.
  • Support other marketing initiatives as needed, such as email sends and website updates.

WHO YOU ARE

  • 1–3 years' experience in marketing, community management or social media.
  • Strong writing skills with a focus on clarity, tone and accuracy.
  • Confident using LinkedIn, Facebook and Canva.
  • Organised and detail-oriented, comfortable working to a monthly plan.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Experience in B2B, Fintech, or Payments.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Outreach, Zoominfo, Sales Navigator or other email tools.
  • Understanding of organic content performance metrics.
  • Someone who continues to invest in themselves through training.
  • An
    out-of-the-box thinker
    when applying for this role.

Preferred Experience

  • Financial Services, Fintech or Payments.
  • Understands LinkedIn and Meta algorithms better than their competition.
