At MSWA, we are on a mission to support over 2,000 clients living with neurological conditions, such as Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neurone Disease, and Parkinson's. As part of our dynamic Physiotherapy & Exercise Physiology Services team, you'll be joining a vibrant and skilled group of over 60 staff, including Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists, Assistants, and Massage Therapists, who are dedicated to empowering people to live their best lives.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring Casual Massage Therapist to join our growing team. This is your chance to make a real difference by applying your skills to help individuals navigate the challenges of their neurological conditions, improving their quality of life in meaningful ways.

This is a casual role working 2 days per week in Wilson and 1 day in Kelmscott.

A Day in the Life of a Massage Therapist at MSWA Your days will vary, but you'll become familiar with several key responsibilities that allow you to deliver exceptional, person-centred care:

• Conducting client assessments to understand their individual needs and goals
• Creating tailored treatment programs that address their specific conditions and preferences
• Working with a wide range of neurological conditions, adapting your approach to varying levels of severity
• Applying therapeutic massage techniques, including cupping and dry needling (if qualified)
• Assisting with client transfers using the appropriate mobility aids and equipment, when needed
• Educating clients on self-care exercises to extend the benefits of massage therapy
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment, including sanitizing equipment and ensuring proper hygiene protocols
• Managing client bookings and handling administrative tasks as necessary

What We're Looking ForYou're a compassionate, skilled Massage Therapist who is ready to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients. You bring both technical expertise and emotional intelligence to your work, and you're passionate about providing exceptional care to those with neurological conditions.

Essential Requirements:

• Certificate IV in Massage Therapy (or equivalent)
• Current First Aid & CPR certification
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
• A valid Australian "C" Class Driver's License with no restrictions

Desirable Qualifications & Skills:

• Advanced Diploma in Remedial Massage
• Training in specialized techniques like Cupping, Dry Needling, etc.
• Proven experience as a Massage Therapist
• Experience working with people with disabilities
• Knowledge of manual handling techniques, transfers, and mobility equipment
