We are seeking an experienced and talented Bridal Alterations Specialist to join our team on a contractor basis, working with our in-house team to deliver impeccable fittings and alterations.

About the Role

Completing alterations , you will work closely with our stylists and brides to ensure every gown is perfectly tailored to each client and complete any requested alterations to achieve a perfect fit. You'll bring technical expertise, attention to detail, and a love for craftsmanship to help each bride feel confident and beautiful on her wedding day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform bridal gown alterations, fittings, and adjustments with precision and care
  • Liaise with bridal consultants and clients to achieve the desired fit and finish
  • Manage fitting appointments professionally and efficiently
  • Maintain high-quality standards and attention to detail in every garment
  • Handle delicate fabrics, laces, and beading with expertise
  • Meet agreed-upon timelines and manage workload independently

About You:

  • Proven experience as a seamstress or tailor, preferably within bridal or couture
  • Exceptional technical sewing and garment construction skills
  • Strong understanding of bridal fabrics and gown structure
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Reliable, professional, and able to work autonomously
  • Own sewing equipment and workspace and ability to complete alterations professionally offsite using own equipment.

Remuneration:

  • Contractor rates are payable on a job by job basis based on approved quotations with clients.
