Australian Audiology is a family owned reputable business serving the communities of Tweed, Gold Coast and Brisbane since 2010. We provide complete audiological health care to our clients including wax removals, Diagnostics, Aural Rehabilitation including Hearing Aids and Cochlear Implants.

About the Role

This is a full-time on-site role for an Audiologist located in Gold Coast, QLD. The Audiologist will be responsible for conducting hearing assessments, diagnosing and treating hearing disorders, fitting and dispensing hearing aids and Cochlear Implants, providing auditory rehabilitation, and maintaining patient records. The Audiologist will also collaborate with other healthcare professionals and provide counseling and education to patients about hearing loss and hearing aid use and aural rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting hearing assessments
  • Diagnosing and treating hearing disorders
  • Fitting and dispensing hearing aids and Cochlear Implants
  • Providing auditory rehabilitation
  • Maintaining patient records
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals
  • Providing counseling and education to patients about hearing loss and hearing aid use

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Audiology or related field
  • Relevant certification and license to practice as an Audiologist in Australia

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in conducting hearing assessments and fitting hearing aids
  • CI experience would be preferred
  • Experience in diagnosing and treating hearing disorders
  • Skills in auditory rehabilitation and patient counseling
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Sound physical and mental health to run a busy clinic
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a healthcare setting
  • Experience in Ear Wax removals is a plus

Preferred Skills

  • CI experience would be preferred
  • Experience in Ear Wax removals is a plus
