Ventia are hiring a full-time permanent Electrician to work in our Telecommunications sector on the ICF fibre network. This is a once-in-a-lifetime project upgrading the national inter-city network with advanced optic fibre cables.

Required to travel regularly across Metro & Regional NSW and sometimes nationally. Travel may involve working away from home for up to 12 nights at a time, pending project requirements.

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead onsite construction and electrical works for fibre optic projects
  • Install and commission AC/DC power systems and cabling
  • Fit out shelters and containers for telecommunications equipment
  • Supervise apprentices and ensure compliance with safety protocols

Are you our next Electrician?

  • NSW Electrical License and Drivers Licence
  • Telstra exchange experience highly regarded
  • Experience in Telco environments required
  • Ability to lead projects and manage teams
