Two Wells, South Australia Take the Lead Canine Services Full time $40,000 - $60,000 per year

About the Role

We're looking for a creative and confident Content Creator to capture the real heartbeat of life at Take the Lead - the dogs, the land, the people, and the moments that make our farm special.

This role is hands-on, onsite, and immersed in daily operations. You'll be responsible for obtaining and creating visual content (video and photo) that tells our story authentically across social media, website, and campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Capture high-quality photos and videos across all areas of the property — boarding, training, daycare, hydrotherapy, and events.
  • Create engaging short-form videos (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts) that reflect our brand's personality and training ethos.
  • Work closely with the director to plan and storyboard content around service highlights, client dogs, staff stories, and seasonal promotions.
  • Manage daily and weekly filming schedules, ensuring a consistent flow of content for social platforms.
  • Record and create transformation videos through case studies of our training dogs
  • Assist the director in creating virtual content through online courses, small ticket offers and more
  • Edit and deliver polished, on-brand content using appropriate editing tools (e.g., CapCut, Premiere Pro, Canva).
  • Ensure all visuals align with TTL's aesthetic and core message — natural, educational, heartfelt, and professional.
  • Maintain and organise our digital content library for easy access and repurposing.
  • Capture behind-the-scenes and lifestyle storytelling moments that bring authenticity and emotion to our brand.
  • Occasionally assist in interviews or voiceovers with staff, clients, or trainers for feature videos.
  • Stay current with trends in social media and video storytelling, particularly in the pet and lifestyle industry.

Essential Attributes

  • Strong understanding of visual storytelling, composition, and brand tone.
  • Comfortable working with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, although you wont be the one handling the dog, you must be able to move confidently around animals while capturing content safely. We specialise in reactivity, fear based behaviours and at times aggression.
  • Proficient in video and photo editing software (CapCut, Canva, Lightroom, or Adobe Suite).
  • Strong organisational skills — able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and proactive — thrives in a dynamic, outdoor, often unpredictable environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with trainers, staff, and clients.
  • Reliable, punctual, and detail-focused with a natural eye for what makes a moment shareable.

Desirable Attributes

  • Experience in content creation within an animal care, lifestyle, or outdoor brand.
  • Photography/videography qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Drone photography or interest in learning.
  • Understanding of social media strategy, analytics, and engagement.
  • A love for dogs and an appreciation for balanced training methods and real-world results.

What We Offer

  • A creative and supportive environment where your work directly impacts how our brand is seen and felt.
  • Access to a beautiful 23-acre property full of dogs, paddocks, sunshine, and stories.
  • Opportunities for growth, new ideas, and creative input.
  • Flexible hours (where possible) and potential to evolve into a broader digital or media management role.
