Due to growth, this highly regarded, leading global valves manufacturer is seeking an Sales Engineer. You will be a key contributor to the company's growth strategy, responsible for managing and expanding relationships with existing clients while actively pursuing new business opportunities. This role is focused on servicing small to medium industrial plants and project-based businesses across sectors such as food & beverage, building products, HVAC, and water-related industries. We are seeking an up and coming sales superstar. You will be heavily supported by the sales management team. This role will have regional travel.
Your role will focus on:
· Actively seek new business and promote products
· Client and site visits to enhance customer relationships
· Engage managed accounts and new customers with strong product solutions to drive sale conversions
· Provide timely and accurate quotes
· Prepare, submit and present proposals
· Provide reports on sales activities and market trends
Required:
· years experience in an internal or external sales role
· Strong mechanical aptitude
· Valves experience viewed favourable but sales of industrial mechanical products would be suitable also.
· Exceptional customer service skills through both written and verbal communication
· Experience with B2B sales and commercial experience
· A strong desire to achieve and meet budgets and targets
· A commitment to grow your business market by providing sound solutions for your customers
· Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task
· A high level of motivation and enthusiasm
