About the Role
Join our Children and Families Service and make a real difference in the lives of children and their families. As a Paediatric Occupational Therapist, you'll provide high-quality assessment and intervention services that help children reach their full potential. You'll work collaboratively with families, carers, and a multidisciplinary team to deliver care that is innovative, evidence-based, and family-centred.
- Provide assessment, treatment, and discharge planning for children with developmental needs
- Collaborate with families and other health professionals to create tailored care plans.
- Support students and junior staff through supervision and mentoring
- Participate in service development, policy review, and quality improvement activities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation

About Us:
The Children and Families Service provides outpatient-based services to children presenting with developmental delay. The service has an early intervention focus, with most children accessing the service aged between 1 and 4 years of age. Services are provided alongside parent/carer skill development programs with the aim of supporting children's healthy development and relationships.
