About the role

This full-time Branch Field Service Coordinator role at Macfarlane Generators Pty Ltd in Brendale, Queensland provides a fantastic opportunity to join a leading provider of power generation solutions. In this position, you will play a vital part in coordinating the field service team to ensure seamless customer service and timely maintenance of generators across Queensland.

What you'll be doing

  1. Coordinate the field service team to schedule and dispatch technicians for generator maintenance and repair work across Queensland
  2. Liaise with customers to understand their service requirements and schedule appointments efficiently
  3. Maintain accurate records of service history and parts usage for each generator
  4. Provide status updates to customers on service progress and completion
  5. Support the branch manager in stock control and inventory management for service parts
  6. Assist with the implementation of safety procedures and quality standards for field service operations
  7. Build strong relationships with customers to ensure a high level of satisfaction

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 2 years' experience in a field service coordinator or similar customer-facing role, preferably in the power generation industry
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with customers and technicians
  3. Excellent organisational and time management capabilities to coordinate multiple service schedules
  4. Proficient in using Microsoft Office and job management software to record and track service activities
  5. Knowledge of power generation equipment and the ability to understand technical service requirements
  6. A customer-centric mindset and commitment to delivering exceptional service
  7. Flexible and adaptable to respond to changing service demands
