Java Tech Lead / Senior Developer

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to join a team supporting residential aged and community care clients],

What you'll bring:

  • Strong skills in
    Core Java
    and
    JDBC
  • Experience with
    MySQL / SQL
    (queries, optimisation, constructs)
  • Understanding of
    secure coding practices
    (OWASP Top Ten)
  • Knowledge of
    client/server architectures
    and
    OO principles
  • 5+ years' development or application support experience

Nice to have (or willing to complete within 12 months):

  • Oracle certification in
    Java
    and
    MySQL 8.0 Developer
  • GWT experience (training provided)
  • ITIL certification

You are:

  • A self-starter who can manage workload and deadlines independently
  • Focused on delivering clean, efficient and secure code
  • Able to work collaboratively while offering senior-level solutions
