
Automotive Vehicle Accessory Analyst

We are a fast-growing automotive accessory business dedicated to delivering high-quality products and technical support across Australia. With strong ties to dealerships and the aftermarket, we pride ourselves on providing accurate technical information, innovative solutions, and outstanding service.
We are now seeking an experienced Parts Interpreter / Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the Australian automotive industry, strong technical knowledge of vehicle parts, and the ability to create and maintain technical documentation that supports both internal teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Documentation & Templates
- Maintain, update, and create technical sheets, parts catalogues, and internal reference templates.
- Develop and refine clear, standardised templates for part specifications and dealership communications.
- Parts Interpretation & Analysis
- Accurately identify vehicle parts and interpret manufacturer data.
- Provide technical specifications, compatibility details, and cross-reference information to support internal teams and external customers.
- Dealership & Supplier Liaison
- Work closely with dealerships and suppliers to stay updated on the latest parts, offers, and technical changes.
- Ensure internal systems and documentation reflect current parts availability and supersession updates.
- CAD Design & Technical Support (Optional Advantage)
- Assist with CAD design or drawing updates for technical sheets and product fitment (desirable, not essential).
- Provide technical guidance to sales, operations, and external partners on part fitment, usage, and compatibility.
- Internal & External Support
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate part fitment information for customers.
- Support external partners and clients with detailed product and technical data.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience as a Parts Interpreter, Parts Analyst, or similar role in the Australian automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle parts, catalogues, and manufacturer systems.
- Proficiency in maintaining technical sheets and documentation.
- Excellent communication and liaison skills with dealerships, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Ability to manage data with high attention to detail.
- CAD design skills (desirable, not mandatory).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
