This role is primarily responsible for providing ongoing digitisation of Councils hard copy / paper-based files based in Bankstown for an initial 4 month contract.
Skills needed:
- Records / Document Management Services to council in accordance with legislative requirements.
- Attention to detail with focused ability to follow repetitive processes meticulously
- Computer literacy and ability to use a range of software products
Desirable
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of applying the NSW State Records Act 1998 in particular
Digitisation Specifications GA45 and Disposal Authority GA39
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge in using Kodak scanning applications.
Accountabilities:
- Preparation and scanning of hard copy files to electronic format.
- Monitoring image quality as part of overall quality assurance process.
- Keep file locations up to date.
- Ensuring Council is meeting its legislative and business requirements in digital conversions and record retention.
- Aid with the day to day operations of Records Management when required or as directed.
