About The Role
Caval Ridge is in Queensland's Bowen Basin on the traditional lands of the Barada Barna people.
We are seeking experienced Dragline Operators to work a 7/7 day/night roster. Duties involve:
• Safe use of Marion 8050 Draglines
• Operating dozers around a dragline and bench prep/bulk push activities
• Cable Management and handling using cable tractor and cable truck
• Grader skills are highly regarded but not essential, willing to train on a grader is a must
• Water truck operation for dragline processes
• Operating an excavator for dragline and dozer processes
About You
Successful candidates will possess the following:
• Good attention to detail and identifying hazards in the workplace
• Current Dragline Operating experience with significant open-cut mining experience
• Excellent dozer operating skills for operating around a dragline
• Excavator skills are highly regarded but not essential. Willingness to train on excavators
• HR licence or site Heavy Rigid authorisation for Cable and Water truck Operations for dragline processes
• Cable tractor skills for High Voltage Cable handling
• Current evidence of relevant skills competencies are essential for Dragline, Dozer & Cable tractors
• A genuine commitment to safety and use of Personal Hazard Identification Tools.
• Strong communication skills and a track record of achieving results through influence
• Motivated, enthusiastic individual who can work with minimal supervision and engage in team operations
• Minimum C Class Driver's licence
• Passion for continuous improvement to drive individual and team performance
