Role Description/Criteria
Learning Diversity Position
St Andrew's Primary School is a thriving, innovative and student centred learning community. This community is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care. The school has an enrolment of 319 students.
We warmly welcome applications for ongoing employment at St Andrew's School, Clayton South commencing on Tuesday 27 January.
The position is supported with a Position of Leadership contract, Learning Diversity POL1
Requirements: The successful applicant will:
- actively support the values and ethos of Catholic Education
- create a nurturing and ordered learning environment which is learner centred, supportive, cooperative and aligned with relevant curriculum policies, documents and practices
- differentiate learning for students according to their educational needs and abilities and are responsible for the creation of effective assessment practices and quality teaching programs
- demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
- demonstrate the ability to use data to inform teaching and learning
- demonstrate sound knowledge and understanding of Religious Education and the Pedagogy of Encounter
- demonstrate a willingness to work collaboratively, in genuine relationships with others, in a team environment
- demonstrate the ability to build positive supportive relationships with students and parents
- demonstrate initiative and a commitment to ongoing Professional Learning
- model the Catholic and community values of the school and embrace families from diverse social backgrounds
- commit support and loyalty to the Principal, fellow leaders and all colleagues
- uphold the St Andrew's Child Safety Policy and Code of Conduct
- at all times commit to Child Safety practices and standards.

The successful applicant will have:
- VIT registration
- a current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to undertake a First Aid Course).
- Demonstrate a commitment to Catholic education and an understanding of the leadership role in Catholic education
- Be accredited to teach Religious Education in Catholic schools
