The Position

As our Display Suite Host at GURNER you will be the face of our new GURNER Jam Factory Display Suite in Melbourne. You will mainly be responsible for managing the entire experience of the display suite, controlling access and ensuring that all guests to the Display Suite are provided with a VIP experience on a daily basis. This role will report into the Senior Marketing Manager, and you will also work closely with the wider events team and sales team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administration assistance to the wider sales team- including printing, binding, mail distribution and sorting.
  • Managing the Jam Factory calendar and inbox.
  • Being proactive in organising transfers, deliveries and any additional services for the company and any guest to the display.
  • Maintaining and stocktaking display supplies.
  • Maintaining kitchen and replenishing stock as required.
  • Ensure common areas of the office are always kept neat and tidy.
  • Manage meeting room bookings and ensure rooms are tidy and correctly prepared for each meeting /sales appointment.
  • Act as the face of GURNER and ensure all guests are greeted in a friendly and timely manner.
  • Support the Events and Sales team where necessary with events both internal and external.
  • Other ad-hoc support tasks as required

The Successful Candidate

To be successful in this role, we require you to hold the following characteristics and qualifications:

  • At least two years prior experience in a similar position
  • Professional approach and a polished presentation
  • Hold a current, valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
  • Thrive in a high paced role
  • Strong IT skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Warm and friendly approach
