Position: Retail Assistant – Maternity Cover

Contract: December 2025 – July 2026, with a potential to continue within the business after contract ends.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Rate: $28.50 per hour

Ribs & Roast has been perfecting the art of sous vide cooking for over 15 years, proudly supplying high-quality meats to the wholesale market. Now, we're excited to bring our premium products directly to the public through The Outlet Ribs & Roast - The Outlet opened in October 2024 and has fast become a trusted brand within the community.

We're passionate about delivering top-notch products and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Efficiently open and close The Outlet

Confidently use EFTPOS and handle cash, including opening and closing the till

Greet and assist customers with a smile

Process transactions at checkout

Pack shelves and organise stock

Conduct stock takes

Check product shelf life dates

Weigh and label products accurately

Rotate stock following the First In, First Out (FIFO) method to ensure products are within their use-by date

Ensure the shop is well-presented, clean & tidy

What We're Looking For:

Reliable & professional individual with exceptional customer service experience

A positive attitude and friendly personality

Strong attention to detail and organisation skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Experience in the meat industry is favoured but not necessary

Must have Australian work rights
