We are seeking a passionate and dedicated
Food Technology Teacher
to join our Marian Campus team for Semester 1, 2026. This role offers the opportunity to inspire students through engaging, hands-on learning experiences in Food Technology, while contributing to a collaborative and supportive school culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Food Technology curriculum aligned with the Australian Curriculum and SACE requirements.
• Create inclusive and engaging learning environments that cater to diverse student needs.
• Assess and report on student progress using College systems and standards.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents/caregivers, and leadership to support student learning and wellbeing.
• Participate actively in College life, including co-curricular activities and professional development.

About You

• Registered Teacher in South Australia with relevant qualifications in Food Technology or Home Economics.
• Accreditation to teach in Catholic Education SA (or willingness to obtain).
• Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
• Commitment to the Catholic ethos and values of Cardijn College.
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
• Experience in delivering practical and theoretical components of Food Technology.

Essential Clearances And Certificates

• Working With Children Check and Catholic Police Clearance.
• Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care certificate.
• Approved Mandatory Notification training.
• First Aid Certificate relevant to the role.
