About the role

Henderson's Construction Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Scaffolder to join our team in Newcastle, NSW. This is a casual position, providing you with the flexibility to work when it suits you best. As a Scaffolder, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient installation of scaffolding on our construction sites.

What you'll be doing

  1. Erect, maintain and dismantle scaffolding structures in accordance with safety regulations and industry best practices
  2. Inspect scaffolding components to identify any damage or wear and replace as needed
  3. Collaborate with construction teams to understand project requirements and ensure scaffolding is positioned correctly
  4. Adhere to all health and safety protocols to protect yourself and others on site
  5. Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced scaffolding team members

What we're looking for

  1. Formal scaffolding qualification or certification
  2. Minimum 2 years' experience as a Scaffolder in the construction industry
  3. Excellent knowledge of scaffolding erection techniques and safety procedures
  4. Ability to work efficiently and independently, as well as part of a team
  5. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  6. Commitment to maintaining a safe and organised work environment
