Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Automation QA Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and solutions that improve efficiency, reliability, and quality across our technology landscape. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in test automation and scripting. You will work closely with developers and business stakeholders to strengthen regression coverage, reduce manual effort, and accelerate release cycles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain robust automation frameworks for applications, APIs, and infrastructure :

  • SAP backend

  • WebBrowser application

  • Create, execute, and manage automated regression test scripts to support functional and regression testing.

  • Collaborate with functional and technical teams to understand business processes and translate them into automated test scenarios.

  • Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines to support agile and DevOps delivery models.

  • You'll work embedded within cross-functional squads alongside developers, product owners, contributing directly to the planning, development, and delivery of features.

  • Analyze and troubleshoot automation failures, identifying root causes and driving resolutions.

  • Optimize automation scripts for reusability, maintainability, and scalability across SAP upgrades and customizations.

  • Contribute to test strategy, automation standards, and best practices.

  • Evaluate and implement new tools, frameworks, and approaches to enhance automation coverage.

  • Document automation frameworks, execution processes, and test results for stakeholders

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Proven 3+ years of hands-on experience as an Automation Test Engineer or Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET).

  • Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language

  • Experience with automation tools/frameworks (e.g., Tosca , Playwright, Selenium, TestNG).

  • Working embedded within a cross functional squad with a dynamic setup.

  • Solid understanding of software testing principles, QA methodologies, and Agile/Scrum practices.

Preferred:

  • Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured, SoapUI).

  • Exposure to SAP (and SAP automation tools like Tosca).

  • Experience with CI/CD and version control tools (e.g., Jenkins)

  • Understanding of change management and deployment processes

  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

  • ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
