Early Childhood Traineeship

Novaskill, in partnership with Northern Beaches Council, is offering a full-time, paid traineeship at the stunning Belrose View Children's Centre. You will work alongside a passionate team, receive dedicated mentorship and finish with a nationally recognised Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.

About the Role

As a trainee, you will be welcomed into a supportive team and play a vital role in creating safe, nurturing and fun learning environments for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Supporting play-based learning and group activities
• Assisting with children's routines including hygiene, meals and rest
• Build strong relationships with children, families and your team
• Learn and apply the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
• Observing and reflecting on children's development and learning journeys

To Be Eligible, You Will Need

• A current NSW Working with Children Check
• First Aid Certificate (including Asthma & Anaphylaxis) – can be completed after starting
