About us

Dawson's Garden World has been a successful Garden Centre for over 120 years. We currently have permanent part-time (2-3 days) positions available at our Swanbourne store that would suit a motivated horticulturist.

Qualifications & experience

  • Certificate II, III, or IV in Horticulture or an equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in a retail Garden Centre is preferred, but not essential.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service, including offering recommendations and facilitating sales.
  • Maintain and merchandise stock to create visually appealing displays.
  • Identify and troubleshoot pests and diseases.
  • Operate Point of Sale system (training provided).
  • Handle telephone inquiries efficiently.
  • Perform general cleaning, weeding, weed spraying, and pest spraying.
