MAP Electrics is seeking an experienced and hands-on Site Manager to lead our onsite maintenance operations for the Toyota Altona facility. This role is ideal for a proven leader with strong technical capability in electrical and mechanical maintenance, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to coordinate teams in a fast-paced industrial environment.

As the Site Manager, you will oversee day-to-day maintenance delivery, ensure high-quality service standards, manage client expectations, and support a high-performing team across electrical, mechanical, automation and breakdown tasks. You'll work closely with Toyota stakeholders, supervise technicians, manage scheduling and workflows, and uphold MAP Electrics' commitment to safety, reliability and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the onsite maintenance team across electrical, mechanical, automation and general services.
  • Coordinate daily workflows, job allocation, scheduling and resource planning.
  • Act as the primary onsite client contact, building strong relationships with Toyota supervisors and production teams.
  • Ensure compliance with Victorian OHS requirements, MAP Electrics' SMS, and Toyota site standards.
  • Manage preventive maintenance, breakdown response, and improvement works.
  • Conduct onsite audits, toolbox talks, safety checks and contractor coordination.
  • Review job cards, sign-off work quality, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Report on KPIs, labour hours, job progress and maintenance outcomes to management.

About You

  • Trade-qualified Electrician, Fitter, or dual-trade.
  • Strong experience in industrial maintenance (manufacturing, automotive, logistics or similar).
  • Proven leadership or site supervision experience.
  • Excellent communication, client management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong understanding of OHS, risk control, lockout/tagout, and safe work systems.
  • Comfortable using job management systems (Simpro and MEX preferred).
