Food Store Assistant Manager

Kennedy's Deli & Fine Foods is a new business in Ringwood North seeking a full time assistant manager with excellent communication skills, a genuine love of food, and a commitment to providing a welcoming experience for every customer.
What the role looks like:
-
Providing friendly and professional service to all customers.

Assisting with food and beverage dispense and some basic food prep
-
Merchandising and maintaining inventory levels, stock rotation ensuring fresh products are always available.

Maintaining a high standard of store, product and personal presentation
-
Upholding health, safety and hygiene standards to comply with all food safety regulations

Accurate point of sale and cash handling including daily opening and closing procedures

Flexibility to work weekends
Applicants must have:

Experience working in a food environment (retail or hospitality)

Customer service skills - friendly demeanour and excellent communication skills

Committed to learning our products and being able to handle working in a fast-paced environment

Energetic team player who prides themselves on personal presentation

The ability to offer cooking advice to our customers would be a bonus
