Pastry Chef

Join Our Team at AM Bakehouse

We are looking for a creative and motivated Pastry Chef to join our team and help deliver high-quality baked goods while maintaining top-tier standards of cleanliness, presentation, and safety. In this role, you'll play a key part in producing delicious pastries and bakery items and contributing to the smooth daily operation of our kitchen. Early strats preffered of 4am.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain standard and deliver products for shop and production.

• Organise orders and pack for other venues.

• Innovate new products

• Keep an eye on Stock levels and ensure to make a note of levels

• Be a kitchen all rounder, including some dishes and end of day cleaning

• Savoury prep

• Ensure compliance with WHS (Work Health and Safety) legislation and adhere to all food safety regulations.

• Excellent organisational and communication skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and lead a team

About AM Bakehouse:

We are a small barkrey located in the Melbournes South East. We strive to deliver top tier pastries to both our community and to the cafes we supply. We are a combination of retail and Wholesale so we have opportunity for growth.
