Job Description
The role:
Cater Care seeks to appoint a Part-Time Catering Assistant at one of our key aged care residences in Belmont.

Roster:
Monday & Tuesday, 6:30 am to 2:00 pm, Wednesday, 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm

Role
What this role involves:

  • Assisting with food preparation
  • Customer service - serving our residents meals and snacks
  • Re-stocking as required, and after meal periods
  • Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen & dining areas
  • Maintaining food hygiene and safety practices
  • Prepare and present texture modified foods

Desired Skills And Experience
The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience assisting in kitchens, food preparation and/or customer service
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
  • Previous experience in aged care (preferred but not essential)
