Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as an HDD Operator. The HDD Operator will be responsible for operating drilling equipment, ensuring project specifications are met, and maintaining a safe work environment. Daily tasks include setting up and monitoring drilling operations, performing maintenance checks, and following safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Experience in operating HDD rigs and excavators
- Knowledge of underground utility installations
- Ability to interpret project specifications and drawings
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in physically demanding outdoor conditions
- Experience in the construction or utility sector is a plus
- Relevant certifications or licenses (e.g. HDD Operator certification) are beneficial
