About The Role

Working in our Parts Department, the Warehouse Storeperson plays a key role in the organisation, handling, and storage of our Spare Parts inventory. The role ensures the right parts are available, accessible, and efficiently prepared for our customers and internal workshop teams.

This is a hands-on, practical role that suits someone who is:

  • Organised and methodical
  • Comfortable with physical work and manual handling
  • Proud of maintaining a clean, well-presented, and efficient warehouse

Your contribution directly supports the smooth flow of parts across the dealership and enhances the experience of our customers and workshop technicians

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive incoming parts deliveries and verify quantities against delivery documentation
  • Unpack stock and place items into correct shelving, bin locations, and storage areas
  • Assist with stock rotation, consolidation, and general organisation of storage areas
  • Retrieve parts and assist Parts Interpreters with locating items as required
  • Identify and report stock discrepancies, damages, or irregularities to the Parts Manager
  • Assist with stocktakes, cycle counts, and regular inventory accuracy checks
  • Maintain tidy, clearly labelled storage locations and accurate stock levels
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and hazard-free warehouse
  • Follow all OH&S, manual handling, and warehouse safety procedures
  • Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (where licensed)
Skills & Attributes Required
  • Reliable and punctual, with a consistent work ethic the team can rely on
  • Organised and thorough, with strong attention to detail in stock handling and placement
  • Physically capable and comfortable with lifting, carrying, and general warehouse activity
  • Able to work well as part of a team within the Parts Department
  • Safety focused, with a commitment to following safe work practices
  • Previous warehouse, stores, or inventory handling experience

    (automotive or heavy vehicle industry experience is an advantage but not essential)
  • Basic computer literacy and a willingness to learn internal systems
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision once trained
Licences & Requirements
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence – mandatory
  • Forklift Licence – preferred (or willingness to obtain)
  • Ability to work Saturday mornings on a rotating roste
