About the Role

As a Registered Nurse in the Specialist Geriatric Dementia Unit, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, compassionate care to older patients with complex health needs. You will work in a collaborative team environment, providing holistic, person-centred care that supports the dignity, comfort and wellbeing of each individual. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of older South Australians and their families.

In this role, you'll progress from a novice to a proficient practitioner, continually building your clinical knowledge and confidence through hands-on experience and ongoing professional development. You will be accountable for your own nursing practice and contribute to the success of the wider team through delegation, teamwork and commitment to safe, high-standard care. You are a dedicated and adaptable Registered Nurse committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care. With strong clinical skills and a collaborative approach, you thrive in a dynamic healthcare environment.

  • Registered or eligible for registration with the Nursing Board of Australia
  • Skilled communicator with strengths in problem solving, teamwork, and prioritisation
  • Demonstrated clinical competence and flexibility in delivering consumer-focused care
  • Sound knowledge of nursing standards, legislation, and quality improvement systems
