Job Title: Senior Bookkeeper
Location: Gold Coast
Salary: $80-95K + super

My client is a very reputable accounting firm on the Gold Coast, known for providing excellent financial services and fostering a professional, supportive work environment.
The Role:
They are seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day bookkeeping, maintain accurate financial records, and provide insights to support the management team.
This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys working with numbers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full-cycle bookkeeping, including accounts payable and receivable
- Bank reconciliations and cash flow management
- Payroll processing and compliance
- BAS preparation and GST reporting
- Financial reporting and analysis
- Liaising with accountants and external stakeholders
- Identifying process improvements and ensuring compliance
Requirements:
- Minimum [3] years of bookkeeping experience
- Proficient in MYOB, Xero, QuickBooks, or similar
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, GST, and BAS
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong communication skills
