Position Description

We are seeking a dedicated Service Technician-Mechanical to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role you will be responsible for the following:

  • Maximize the availability of TC and Power rental assets through maintenance and repairs.
  • Carry out the total maintenance needs of all hire fleet assets.
  • Perform all mechanical repairs and checking of company assets according to policy.
  • Conduct weekly/monthly scheduled service plans to maintain optimum fleet performance.
  • Carry out effective troubleshooting to minimize downtime and repair costs.
  • Carry out installations, commissioning, decommissioning, and attend breakdowns as required.
  • Perform customer site installations/removals.
  • Assist in the planning of onsite project needs and ensure customer support.
  • Participate in on-call duties as required by the company.
  • Accurately complete paperwork (Prep for Hire/Delivery/Return/Service Order) for stocktake and asset verification.
  • Report missing or damaged items returned from hire to the Senior Service Technician on the same day.
  • Maintain basic tooling and stock levels inside the Service Vehicle.
  • Work in a safe manner, abiding by company policy for housekeeping, safe working at heights, forklift driving, and PPE requirements.
  • Comply with all QHS&E policies and procedures.
  • Provide technical support to the Sales Team when required.
  • Maintain and enhance relationships and communication with internal and external customers.
  • Actively participate in daily planning and weekly tool box meetings.

Salary

If successful, you will be paid a salary of $88,920 per annum.
