About Us:

Echuca Moama Orthodontics is a specialist orthodontic practice dedicated to delivering exceptional care to the local community. Led by Dr. Chun, our team offers a wide range of treatment options including braces, clear aligner and early treatment for children.

About the Role:

We are seeking a Casual Dental Assistant to join our friendly team. Experienced candidates will be rostered for full dental assisting duties, while those without experience will mainly support the team with sterilisation and reception tasks. We're happy to train the right person who has a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.

This role is casual and flexible, with most work likely to be on Tuesdays and Thursdays and flexibility to assist at short notice on Monday and Wednesday when required.

  • Sterilisation of instruments and equipment
  • Chair changes and clinical support when required
  • Reception and patient service duties
  • Maintaining a clean and organised environment
  • Working collaboratively with the team to ensure excellent patient care

About you:

  • Availability from 8:00 am – 5:30 pm (with a 1-hour lunch break)
  • Flexible 1-2 days per week (mostly Tuesday and Thursday and flexibility to be available Monday and Wednesday at short notice)
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Great communication and teamwork abilities
  • Previous dental/healthcare experience is an advantage, but not essential
  • Must be available for a few consecutive days of induction training
